[&:]Hi there, I have a civic 2001 ex manual transsision 10,000 miles on it, when it reach 3000 rpm it makes that weird noise under my hood, does any one had a simialr problem.

 

What kinda noise?

 

Without a noise description, it's hard to diagnose.

If it's a metallic rattle it could be a lose heat shield or exhaust component. Check that the heat shield on the manifold is tight, then check the rest of the heat shields under the car.

If it's a whirring noise from the tranny, you could have a bad bearing in the tranny. First gear in civics likes to whine a little as i believe it's not as helical as the others.
