68mm skunk2 TB and mannifold

Default 68mm skunk2 TB and mannifold

some guy near me is selling a brand new 68mm tb and intake manifold by skunk2. i'm getting it for $380. is 68mm overkill?

i see you have the same size. you losing any power? yea either way i'll get them. if it works it works, if not i can sell them for at least $450 and make profit lol.

damn thats a really good deal, that combo usualy goes for like 500 bucks new off ebay. thats the set up i want but for now im just going to go with the d16z6 throttle body and intake manifold and hondata intake manifold gasket for like 100 bucks total and should give me some more power when i hit boost...

is it ok to add on an intake manifold and throttle body if you only have basic mods like CAI, exhaust, headers?

it couldnt hurt! I here you will be better throttle response, and also think that the better you can get air in and out the better the engine will work.... plus it would be a good performance booster for later mods down the road like say a "TURBO"

Its a good combo. You'll get better throttle response, and you'll notice a power gain.

what about with a turbo^^^ will it make a difference from my stock 45mm cx throttle body and intake manifold, to the 68mm throttle body and skunk 2 intake manifold?
