Default 96 EK DX Exhaust

Exhaust system is pretty much shot on my '96 Civic DX. Tired of half-arsing it back together. It's a stock setup, with plans on an eventual mini-me setup. Called local speed shop and ordered an APEXi World Sports 2 Cat-Back Exhaust System (116-KH05). They'll have it by noon tomorrow for $450. I know it's $30 cheaper online, blah blah blah, but I really like supporting the local guy, and anything less than $50 difference it's worth it to me.

Anyway..reason for post. Am I overpiping the engine to the point where I'm losing too much back pressure? Piping will be 66mm (2.5") and 100mm (3.9") at the tip.

Thoughts?

i wouldn't worry about it really, 2.5 is the absolute max for a n/a setup, 2.25 would be better but meh.. what can ya do?

Thanks! It works out to be 2.39" really, so I think it's close enough. Just couldn't see one exhaust now, then change it a year or so down the line. Anybody know what kind of a warranty comes with Apexi products?

Nevermind, found it. 1 year, same as Midas (well, except Midas has a lifetime on the muffler).

Priced out a Midas cat-back. $440 installed. So for an extra $10, plus me installing a pretty much bolt-in application, I'm getting a much better system AND it's stainless!
