Default 98 Civic EX

how much will the sound and horsepower improve from a stock 98 ex civic to a greddy evo2 catback new greddy headers and a new greddy converter?....i just ordered it all and was wondering if i will really see a difference in sound/performance....thanks

by converter I take it you mean a high flow cat? With the exhaust wide open from the header back, it should sound pretty mean. Performance will pick up alot, mostly in the mid to upper RPM's and you definately can't go wrong with Greddy. If you have or get a high flow intake, then it will really sound good.

You'll scoop up a few extra hp and db's but not a huge amount (of hp i mean).

my brother and i put the greddy evo and headers on our 00 si and it made a hell of a difference, a realistic guess would be 10-15hp on the twin cam. the headers made a bigger difference on the low to midrange power(4-2-1 Greddy) and not too loud, but louder than stock.

Realistic?? maybe with forced induction, but not with just a twin cam. More like 7-8[sm=smiley24.gif]
