AEM and aPexi
I currently have an AEM short ram intake and in about 2-3 weeks will have an aPexi N1 Exhaust. WHat do you guys think about this set up? When i was deciding on my exhaust i told my dealer that i want a very loud exhaust but not like high pitch, ricy, i want it to be loud and deep that you can feel. He told me the N1 will have the best sound and fit for my 2005 Civic Lx for the money.

as a sales man.. i have some advice for you... never trust a salesman... sure the n1 is loud... but if there is no resinator on there. then you can most likely call your car a pissed off bumble bee... but then again. i could be wrong.

Doesnt the N1 have a resonator? From what Ive heard, its a very good system with a nice low tone, that isnt super loud.
And 05, its a good setup. There are a lot of companies you can go with, but AEM and Apex'I are some of the best.

Yeah, almost any N1 system will be quite loud. I was actually quite suprised at how un-ricey dj_ipirate's was, but then again it is Skunk2, not some cheap piece of crap *Good choice on your exhaust man*. But yeah Apex'i does some make some VERY good quality stuff, a friend of mine has a '93 RX7 with a full turbo-back exhaust (Apex'i N1), and it is VERY loud, but still not too ricey.
Then again, a turbocharged rotaty engine is going to sound WAY different than a 1.7 liter N/A civic, so it really isnt any comparison.

the n1 sounds like a greddy evoII on steroids. its loud but deep. personally i wouldnt get it...i have a teacher (not really a teacher...she was a student teacher last year and the studends at our school liked her so much she works in the band program now) who had an N1 on her 93 and took it off cuz it gave her a headache. id rather have the WS2 if i were to get apexi. but hell...each to his own.
