AEM V2 ?

so i installed my V2 yesterday, and the directions were unclear so i had a question about the smaller intake tube, the one that has the filter connected to it...where does it rest?i know theres a little rubber thing that sticks out of the mount, but does the tube just sit on the rubber part? Does it screw on next to the rubber? where does it rest?

RE: AEM V2 ?

I think you loosen up the nut on your strut and put that bracket undernaeth it then tighten it back down. idk if theres specs on the strut bolt though, so u might havta check that. You can kinda see it in this picture:

RE: AEM V2 ?

ok thanks...so far no problems, nothing has loosened, and everything is solid, im just a little skeptical about the strut

RE: AEM V2 ?

so the only thing holding your intake on is where it is actually connected? and the clamps are just really tight holding the second piece on to it?

RE: AEM V2 ?

well if you put that little bracket under your strut bolt and tighten it down really good, it really shouldnt move that much...it should keep the filter up and out of the way
