Yeah, wishful thinking I guess :D
Forty, I like it, accelerating/merging onto the expressway is now more fun than I could have imagined, hee hee. I haven't been driving it as much as I would like to due to an ongoing problem with my brakes that is driving me insane (but that's another thread...) |

[quote]ORIGINAL: mxs ORIGINAL: dj_ipirate whats with the transmition mount thing? i drive a 01 ex. so do i have to worry about that if i get a v2? Not sure where the mounting point is, but it looks like you won't have to mess with the transmission. so does that make it a cold air intake? looks like a short ram to me. |
RE: AEM V2 installed ! ! !
ORIGINAL: dj_ipirate ORIGINAL: mxs Nope, yours will look like this: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/phot...Type=6&apage=1 Not sure where the mounting point is, but it looks like you won't have to mess with the transmission. |
RE: AEM V2 installed ! ! !
it is neither because one utilizes cold air from the wheel bay and a better breathing filter for performance gains. the SRI uses a better flowing filter than stock. the V2 uses a better flowing filter and somehow uses sound waves...which is somehow giving users more performance than cold air would
