if i were to upgrade the intake/exhaust/headers...etc. of my 92 lx (already has california emissions system on it) what should i do, and in which order of priority? all suggestions are welcome, unless you're trying to rip me off and such

i'd do, exhaust/intake/headers....magnaflow catback exhaust, AEM CAI, and DC headers. you could get all those for about $900ish total. if u got the money now, buy it all at once and throw it in all at once, u'll feel the power difference big time.

personally i wouldnt go with a magnaflow exhuast, id get megan racing, or a greddy evo2 if you can afford it. theres really not much power difference, but megan racing and greddy have better sounds IMO. i agree with him on the headers and intake tho.

Intake, cat-back and then header.

No way would I spend $900 on those 3, but I am a cheap bastard. I spent ~ $300 and there ain't no APC or OBX on the Super D.

For $900 you could find a turbo kit.

I have to agree with Street here, Intake/Exhaust/Header. For the Intake definately AEM, if you have the money spend it on a V2. DC header and whichever exhaust you prefer, I'm a DC man but heard nothing but good things about the Greddy Evo2. Happy Modding!!!!

the only thing id say bad about the evo2 is it'll cost you an arm and a leg as exhausts go. magnaflow, dc sports, megan racing...theyll all go 350-400. the evo will be at least 450...upwards to 650

I've been told Skunk2's products are great for civs, but don't know/haven't seen or heard a Skunk2 exhaust on a civ yet, so no real experience with it. But its definately a quality company so I wouldn't expect something less from their exhaust.

Tsudo cat back is worth considering. I got mine from Ebay $255 shipped! Great deal, and its holding up and looking very good. My car video should be done soon, you can hear what it sounds like.
