well im running catless and if you really know your car, you will feel a little more power up top, but you will loose a little torque. high flow or test pipe really doesnt matter.

if you ever get caught running without a cat.. the police have the option to impound your car because it is "unfit" for the road. Not a good idea. If it is a track car, fine.. but not for street. I don't know about where you live but in my area, cops have spot checks all the time.

I know a guy who was fined $200 because his exhaust was broken.. it wasn't even modified or nothing.. just broken. It was a hole in the pipe before the cat that made the car real loud..

oh really?...i live in FL and we dont have emssiions testing here anymore..i havnt heard of anyone being fined or of the cops even checking since they did away with the emissions...thanks for the warning tho...yea thats what i heard helps high end but hurts low end...a lot of people dont like the lound sound but i thought it sounded cool...lol ...thanks guys

yes, i agree. I have to waste money getting my car "emission certified" every 2 years.

yea they did away with the emissions testing a long time ago...i was really young the last time i remember going with my dad to get tested...yea id say we are lucky...i feel bad for all of u that have to worry about passing...i hear a lot of storys about ppl that have to "demod" their car to pass....

I have the N1 apexi catback on my 95 and it sounds nice, deep tone not to loud or ricey... well worth the investment

have you heard it from the outside? with someone else driving it? i ask because i didnt think the stupid muffler shop job i have on mine was too loud till i heard it when someone else drove it and i was alongside.

It wasnt as loud as my buddy's 2001 civic si with a full tanabe catback, now that thing was loud but it sounded good, we put alot of work in that car, it was a mugen tranny in it and an edelbrock turbo kit right when it first came out and that car was fast.. to bad that poor car met an unfortunate ending...

yeah all the tanabe ive heard is HELLA loud. it sounds OK for loud, but i like mine quiet.
