Default Apex'i WS2 Cat-back?

Hey, It's finally time for me to get a new exhaust considering my old exhaust is starting to have rust problems. The only thing is that the rust hole it has is RIGHT after the axle (the axle-back coupling place), so I am wondering if it is worth it to get a full catback system (im looking Apexi WS2 most likely, possibly Evo2 if i can find it for a somewhat reasonable price) or go with a universal WS2 muffler (or possibly Skunk2 N1) and then just have a shop near where i live custom bend 2.25 inch piping to where the axleback part would start. The muffler and custopm bent piping and installation would run me about $240 total. I'm on a tight budget from stupid insurance and college so i have to keep that in mind.

Do you guys think going with just the axleback would be worth it, or should i save up the rest of the money ($400ish) and just get a full WS2 catback?

Thanks for any advice,

Evan

imo, just get the axelback and save the rest of the money, or get the custom exhaust @ a shop. no doubt though, i have the greddy evo2 and it sounds GREAT. so if you want to spend 400+ you wont be disapointed @ all.

if you get an axle back your car will sound like ****

My old exhaust was rusted had a hole in it too. And my car was getting pretty loud. I just bought an Apexi WS2 for my 92 hatch and its a great exhaust. It was quieter then I thought it would be. My car felt a lot more free flowing after it was installed. You can hear the engine over the exhaust and no one will mistake you for a ricer with it. Its just a really smooth deep tone and its not that loud. It fitted my needs and I would recommend getting it.

Yes, I do. And even before I added the intake I liked how it sounded, very distinctive but nowhere near obnoxious.

I also had a little problem where it rusted in half after 5 years. But I got it welded back together for $40 and all is good again.

Im looking at getting an Apex'I WS2 when I buy my new Civic (hopefully soon). But as eveyrone has said, with just the axleback, your car is going to sound horrible. Its your choice, but it seemed to me that you liked things quieter.

Alright, i think im gettin mostly "go with the WS2 system", not just axleback, so now its just a question of where to get one cheap.

I found a full WS2 catback new for 400 with free shipping....if anybody knows of some great deals on this let me know, because that would be awesome!

Thanks for all the help,

Evan
