Default Best Intake for my Climate

Alright people, as the title says, i live in michigan and endure its stupid weather trends year round. Typically, summers range from hot and muggy 90's, to low 50's and raining (when it rains, it pours...). Oh yeah, and "winter driving" consists of the months september thru April. Overall we get a lot of precipitation, and i've heard this can cause problems with some Intakes.

What would be the best route for me to take? CAI, etc..? Which brands, if any are built for this sort of climate? I'd heard something about AEM making one that was somewhat built for wet climates, in that it had some sort of filter inside that kept any and all water out. Is that true, or was i reading BS?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. thanks guys

get an Injen RAI (ram air intake). thats what i think im gettin. you can buy an extention to convert it to a CAI but in the winter u can take it off and not worry about clipping it on a snow drift or one of those chunks of snow that falls off of someone elses car in the middle of the road.

See, i've heard of short ram, but never heard it called ram air. Thats something that usually pertains to muscle car hoods, haha...
