Default buying a new exhaust system

Is it possible to buy a good exhaust system for $200 or less? Can anyone recommend some good ones?

I drive a 99 EX.

Not unless you can find a shop to fabricate a custom one. Even then, the muffler will be $100-300 for a decent one.

Ask what kind of piping they use. I know that around here theye just use steel thats not stainless. I wouldnt want my exhaust rusting out in a few years. I paid 501 shipped for my GReddy EVO2 catback

stainless steel is more expensive, and heavier?...last longer, thats a good thing...

then again, the aluminized steel is cheaper, does the same job,and last for a few years,i got told that they usually last for around 8 years, not too bad.i doubt any1 will have their cars for that long, since they only keep gettin older and you'll want a better/newer car.dont get me wrong,i love my ride.just my thinking though.

not possible to find a good exhaust under 200.... trust me man, I used to think theres no difference but there is... for the longest time i was an ebay junkie (ebay is great for tons of stuff, just dont buy anything off ebay that doesnt give a good name brand) and dont fall for that "greddy style" "apexi style" crap either.... spend 400-500 and get a nice new exhaust or get a nice used one for 250-300
