Default Is CAI or SRI worth buying for a stock 2000 Civic HX?

About to do a tune up on my car & wondering if I should even get a stock filter or SRI/CAI. Just my daily driver so I probably won't do any major mods, but are those intakes I see a lot worth any gains at all? What brand is popular with everyone or maybe even Ebay??

the brands every one likes are injen and aem. I have aem v2 in m car now. And to be honest you wont feel a huge gain but you will notice a difference and it also makes the car sound nicer. Its suppose to improve gas milage but hell i never tested it so don't know if it does or not lol

stay away from ebay, you can find good stuff on ebay, but usually its junk. CAI or SRI you wont notice huge gains, but there is a diffrence. If you dont feel like installing a New air intake you could just use a drop in K&N filter.

Just to clarify, don't stay away from EBAY itself, stay away from those no name intakes that you find ON ebay.
You can sometimes find INjen, AEM, etc. intakes on there. Some used, some new.

i got an hx as well but a '99. i have an aem sri. i got it because i like the look and sound of them. as for gas mileage wise maybe just a little better. if you plan to get a sri or cai then remember that some companies do not say that it fits hx so the one that fits ex would fit. if you do not want to go with sri or cai's then go for a nice drop in filter like the K&N reusable filters.

OK, I decided to go with the SRI. To look for, my HX will have the same fit as the EX intakes. Where is the best place to order online for the Injen or AEM SRI? I'd like to get one ASAP!

i got my short ram from this site. AEM SRI and the Injen SRI Injen is about $50 more than AEM. and yes AEM does not show Hx's but if you get the Ex they will fit. have one in my Hx.
