I have a 91 civic hatch with a b18a1 swap. Is the horsepower gain that i would get from putting cams on worth the price it is going to cost me to put it on and get it tuned? Do i need to get it tuned?

 

well depends on which cams you get. you could always take the money you were goin to spend on cams and get a b16 or GSR head and make 30 more hp and more topend.
you'd be spending about 800 to do a head swap which is the price of the head and the oil line kit to convert it

 

i was going to boost it down the road. So i should prolly keep the ls head for compression reasons right?

 

If you're going to turbo it sometime in the future, don't get cams (itfeels so weird talking about cams in regard to a civic)until after you turbo it. N/A cams are different than turbo cams.
