I have a 2000 civic ex and something was wrong with it, so when i took it to my mechanic he said there a buch of scum in the cat. so i was just wondering if a good quality down pipe would do the trick and how much ythey go for and what kind i should get.

 

Im curious. How would your cat be all scummed up for being 6 years old? And from what I know of, no one makes just a downpipe. You need to replace the whole header itself.

 

o im sry im a newb, so i would need to buy a whole new header. i might as well just get a whole exhaust too, im thinkin about a megan racing exhaust, wat do u think.
