CAT Replacement/intake manifold

ya its very easy to remove and instal the new one..... just be sure to soak all the bolts down with some good penetrating oil and let it soak in before trying to remove the bolts. and when reinstaling the new one just put in every bolt just finger tight until you have every bolt/nut on and then tighten it down evenly and use new OEM gaskets.

ya just be be sure to torque everything down properly... you definatly dont want to break a bolt off the head!!!!!! if it breaks off the manifold conection or the rear pipe no big deal.... but if ya break the piece off the head thats big trouble...

and wrench should work for small jobs. best names would be snapon or craftsman...
just a word of advice be sure when torquen them down that you use the right torque. theres INCH LBS and FOOT LBS big difference in the 2

The torque of nuts and bolts in the header/cat range from 17 ft-lbs to 33 ft-lbs (see your first diagram). I believe that Sears sells a Craftsman torque wrench that covers 10-75 ft-lbs, which would be appropriate for this job.
