i need some advice in regards to my exaust note. I wanna use a cherry bomb muffler but i dont know which one to use and if they will sound decent. I work at autozone and i can get them for like $17 so it will be affordable. Any tips in regards to using the turbo or the turbo II? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

 

cherry bomb as in just a glass pack? or a riceish muffler? i would get a cat back exhaust so your not wasting money.

 

HA, my friend had a Cherry bomb on his 240, you could hear him from way down the street, I personally think they sound horrible, deffinatly angry bumble bee's in a coffee can sound. Also they break down pretty fast expecially under hot conditions. I've seen a guy put them on a catless rx-7 and within a few minuits he was shooting flaming ***** of fiberglass packing out the back (but they run really hot, my test pipe glows red for 30mins after i shut it off) But for $17 you cant really get any other muffler.

get the longest one you can fit. it will quiet it the most.

 

Yeah very very rich, like 11mpg rich lol. I've put that project on the back burner for now. Way too much money and 0 reliability.

 

this guy i no put one on his truck and now it sounds like a car with a crappy can on the back...buy a nice exhust and put it on

 

dont wast your money... get something worth wile. a friend of mine had one and it cracked.

 

i had a cherry bomb turbo on my 84 bronco2... it was loud as hell, of course i had no cat. it sounded good on my b2 but i wouldn't put one on a car.

 

they sound good with duals on a 350.
