Default Civic manifold

Hi, i've currently got a '94' civic VTi, and want to get a 4 branch manifold for it, i've got one in mind, but i heard a rumour that you might have to take the engine out to fit it??? i found that hard to believe but could someone shed some light?? also could someone explain what the headers are i get confused really easily,
cheers Ben

four branch intake manifold?? If you're talking about the GSR IM, it won't fit.

as for what a header is It's the piece that connects to the engine block up front that routes the exhaust.
