just a random question. does cold air actually improve preformance? is it worth the money?

I'll save you the work:

CAI - Increases mid-range and top-end power slightly; maybe one or two horses. Expensive
SRI (short-ram intake) - Slightly smaller gains than CAI, butbetter throttle response; half the price of a CAI.

If you absolutley must have the maximum possible gains, go with a CAI. If you jsut want a "peppier" car, go with a SRI

if you're going ebay, they're about the same price, but other than that you've got it down.

get a CAI if your undecisive... seriously. with a CAI, you can just not install the second part and viola! you have a SRI!
