cold air intake, short ram intake.

SRI blows

CAI sucks

see if you can figure that out

if you live in cali you might wanna get a 2 CAI for the wintertime.

you're just looking for something cheap to pass inspection, right? just go with a brand name and you will be fine. You may get better gains from a cold air intake, because it picks up cold air from down in the fender, as opposed to warmer air from your engine bay. there's about 100000 threads on this topic already, so I will stop there.

your buddy could’ve been talking about a bypass valve…but that’s only really if your planning on going scuba diving with your car

incase you go into a REALLY deep puddle, and the water can reach the tip of the intake(the filter) so it won't flood the engine

Yeah since the cai plants the air filter down towards the lower portion of the bumper, it lays lower to the ground to induct more air. but they say that it can pick up more water down there and if u bypass it, it reduces major water from getting sucked in which is bad for the engine. i went with a aem sri just so i never have any worries in rain or puddles or any **** liek that. i love it, and a cold air intake only has like 2-3 mor ehp so its no biggie...whatever u wanan do is fine, if u wanna just be on the safe side i say the sri, if u wanna push out those extra 3 horses, cai
