intakes change sound
mostly at wide open throttle though depending on the intake, exhaust will change from start up to red line

If you already have an exhaust on your car. I wonder if putting a cold air intake on it will make it kinda loud or will you not be able to really tell the difference sound wise. And what is the loudest CAI that you can buy? (although i will be buying mine for power not sound).

because (metaphorically speaking) you're going from a two year old sucking through a coffee straw to an industrial vaccuume cleaner. it just moves a lot more air after you change the intake so its louder.
