Default Cold air kits

Hay, does anyone have any experience with those front mounted intercooler style cold air filter kits? I dont know the proper name of them ( they are rare in UK).
Are they any good? Do they work? Does anyone know of any websites i might be able to get one from? Thanks.

never heard of it? Is it like a fake intercooler but just a really big intake? Sounds like it would take on alot of water.

front mount intake. dont bother. the extra bends and length on the piping negates the minimal amount of "ram" effect you MIGHT get from the location.

I agree with sacicons, I think it would be more of a hassle and not enough performance.
A cold air intake would probably better all around.
