hey guys, sometime in the next week or so, in addtion to finally having my b16a swap done to my 95 civic dx coupe, i am getting a custom exhaust made. i've already ordered the OBX twin loop muffler since I've read many good things about it. now, i'm thinking about running either 1 or 2 resonators. ive read about how the srt4's came from factory with no mufflers and running dual resonators, and they are a bit too loud for my taste. the way i figure it, with the twin loop, which i've read already dampens sound pretty good, shouldn't only one resonator be good for a good sounding exhaust? nothing loud and screamy? also, if i was going to go with 2 resonators, would this be restrictive on my exhaust? thanks guys, i appreciate it!

Twin loop mufflers restrict exhaust gasses.......I dont care what anyone or anything says.....the design speaks for itself. Get 1 resonator and 1 muffler.......a GReddy or magnaflow will work fine.

 

The reason an SRT4 can get away with that is because a turbo makes the exhaust quieter because the shock pulses comming from the valves are smoothed out as they cross through the exducer.

And +1 for 1 resonator and 1 muffler. I don't care for the twin loop myself.
