Ok so does did your holley or skunk2 throttle bodies come with a tps sensor? i m in firm belief the tps is bad and im not giving the dealership 900$ for a new throttle body with a tps. Considering how my motor setup is id definatly prefer a larger aftermarket one. Thank you
900$ for what, a clump of shaped metal. No way. Yes, my holley did come with all the sencor mounts, and the skunk's do also. Good lord, $900..............

Do aftermarket TB and IM make that much of a difference?

They aid in throttle response more than anything. the Y8 and Z6 intake manifold is great though and just fine untill you plan on making real big power. get a throttle body off a H22 or a B18 and port match your stock intake manifold. Also the TPS is slated as a non replaceable item meaning if you need to buy a new one you will need to buy the whole throttle body or go to a junkyard to get it because no over the counter parts supplier or honda dealership will sale you a TPS w/o ther whole throttlebody

even if you buy a new throttle body, performance or not won't you have to clock in the tps?

Yes dam dealership wanted 894$ plus shipping for a new throttle bodie, i have the honda tech manual from the factory and from outward appearances it looks like i could match up one from a 99 civic si. Has this been done? Whats involved? I checked out skunk2, Holley, Edelbrock ect only edelbrock offers one with a new tps sensor. But their catalog and website both only list for b16 and b18. Ive also wondered if there is an ITB setup for sohc civics or not. Does anyone know if this has been doen if so how?

I bought my last TPS on ebay brand new, so check that out. ITB have been done on a D series before. But I dont know where you'd get them and how much $ you'de be paying.

Since we're on the subject... I've been wondering, if you put a monster TB on and already have an SRI or CAI will the intake still fit on the new TB.
