yo so i bought a dc sports header.. about how many horsepower does it give

please read the stickies ^ or search, this is a super vague question

and why wouldn't you ask before you bought it?

 

How much HP it has added is relative to what other mods you ahve doen to your car?

What type of exhaust do you have, stock or aftermarket?
do you have a stock or aftermarket Cat?
What type of intake do you have?
What engine do you have?

All of these will affect how much HP your header has added.

 

got some unknown ebay exhaust
dont kno wat kinda cat i got
got f5 fujita intake
i got a D17A2

 

unknown ebay exhaust=rice, seriously it probably sounds like raspy rice s***
if you don't know what cat you got it's probably a test pipe, which is illegal.

and the header will probably give you 6 extra HP but your cheap exhaust probably limited it to 2-4.

Did you install the exhaust? And Do you remember if you took the cat out and put in a test pipe? It doesnt sound like you did. Also you have a 7th gen. just so you know they are the best engines to mod so I would call it a day on the engine parts. Your I/H/E setup will probably net you about 5-10hp, thats a maybe tho. Anyways if you still looking for more performance, upgrade your suspension. And if you really want more power look into a k series swap.

 

naw when i bought it it came with the exhaust so idk

well I upgraded everything and will soon add a rear sway bar. click my link and go to the part where I did suspension mods, you'll see what I mean.
