haha thats tight dude. im gettting a SRI but do you rhink the cai is worth the extra 150-200 bucks?

Ive heard mixed answers to your question sir. My answer would have to be no. i dont think they're worth THAT much extra. I say, get the SRI and if your not happy with the gain in performance do what i did... What is your purpose in getting an intake though? Performance? Sound? Both? If it is mostly for the sound (in which i wouldn't blame you, they sound kickass) I'd get the SRI. Bottom line is you will notice a difference with both. Just a bit more with a CAI.

^ i'd only do it if i didnt care what my engine bay looked like, if the gains are there i'd definitely do it, i was just wouldnt be proud to pop that hood haha

To the original poster, you do realize that by running your intake that close to the exhaust, you've completely defeated the "cold air" aspect right? If anything, that is now a HOT air intake.
