Those prices are about normal. I've seen the V2 intake a little cheaper. But, if you are going for these name brand items, there will be a big price tag to go with them.

I would suggest the Megan header instead of the DC...a lot cheaper for a similar result...i like the ideas though man! good start!

Well, if you're asking about a nice setup, there is a ton of debate about that. Some swear by name brand stuff and pay the price for it. Some people swear by parts bought on eBay.
For example, you could get an cold air intake, header, and catback for about $355 total on eBay (80+215+60 respectively)

question:

do you have a K swapped EK?

If so, nice header, but wrong intake.

If not, nice intake, but the header won't work.

Also, if you've got a DX, you'll need a catalytic converter.

if you live in cali, megan racing won't work for you - you'll need the dc sport header

$300 is way too much for the intake, if you dont live in Cali then get a Megan header instead of DC, the Magnaflow catback looks good, and again if youre in Cali and have a DX you need to get a universal cat welded into your exhaust system to stay emissions legal. Looks like youve got a nice setup though, good luck!

i'm gonna be the devil's advocate and point out that's more than $1,000 for minimal horsepower gains to the wheels.

I'm slowly buying similar I/H/E stuff too, but i'm not looking for big horsepower gains either.

true, if you really have $1000+ to spend on I/H/E, why not turbo it?
