hey has anyone here drilled a hole through there stock exhaust?
by taking long drill bit and drilling all the way into the back of the muffler


hit me back if you got any info - sound, hp, anything

WTF are you talking about???? Are you talking about drilling a straight through hole lengthwise through a chambered muffler (from inlet to outlet IE making it straight through) or something?

That has got to be one of the more rediculous things I've heard...

 

I know a guy that did it for fun before putting a new exhaust on. It sounds like... well... you have a hole in your exhaust. Basically, bad.

 

There's a kid I know that had to have had the WORST sounding exhaust I've EVER heard. He bought a cheap *** ebay header, and stripped everything out, the cat, the resonator, everything, and straightpiped 2.5" pipe back to a phart can with barely any packing material.

This was back when I had my diesel and he used to drive past my ****ing house every night (I used to live in a small town) getting on it and pissing me off. Eventually I called the cops on him.

 

Nominated for the worst idea ever.

 

Yea that idea is pretty ****ing retarded. Spend the money and do it right

 

I have heard it on CBR600RR's that sounds good, but everyone knows an aftermarket exhaust gives the best sound and perf.
