Default Dual exhaust ???'s

Well... currently my car is has a 4-2-1 header, no cat and 2.5" tubing to a 5" resonator. I know the exhaust is too big, but it was on there when I got the car. I'm looking into having new exhaust run. I'm gonna get a high flo cat and I want 2 5" resonators on the back... Should I go with the 2.25" piping for the duals or would there still be not enough backpressure b/c there's duals?

4.5" tubing? Firstly, check the back pressure sticky at the top of page, secondly, I wouldnt bother with the dual exhaust, its extra bends will make it less free flowing, thus wont give as good gains as a normal straight through jap style exhaust. Plus there is more to go wrong with a dual custom built zorst. i would go with a tried and tested manufacturer. But Its up to you.

I meant it has 2.5" right now... i fixed it. I mainly want duals b/c I like the way that it looks. I'm just wondering on the best way to do them would be to get the most out of them. And I havent been able to find a manufacturer that sells dual exhaust kits. Could you lead me in the right direction for that?

there was another thread on this a wile ago that got pretty big, try the search feature..but what the best thing you can do is go to a exhust shop and get them to make you a custome cat back with duals..i think it can look pretty good if done right, but it is mostly for show

I dont mean that I just want them for looks... I like the way dual exhaust looks on cars. I just meant that I know that it won't give performance a huge boost like on big engines...
