Default Dually

Im going to dual my civic out wiht 2 mufflers... kinda like a mazda 6. Ive recently seen under my car and saw that it will accomodate a second muffler. Its in the wanted section too. Also, any body know where i can find a bumper that looks exactly like a stock but it has another opening for a 2nd muffler? Or can my stock bumper be modified with some body fil or something?

Some Mazada 6's have V-6 engine's, therefor they work well with two mufflers, having duel exhaust, one for each header. Two 3 into 1 headers going into duel exhaust. Having duel exhaust on a 4 cylinder single header civic is pointless for flow. You will have to split the single exhaust into two pipes at the end. But if you are going just for looks than go for it. But don't do it if you are trying to get any performace out of it.

Yea i figured maybe a possible some and a most likely not but if you think about it, itll look real good. But Im upgrading to 2.5 pipes so 2 stock 1.5 pipe mufflers will help.

I am still not 100% sure this set-up will increase horse power though, it seems to me that most of your exuast will want to travel out of the right hand muffler since it is the easiest and most direct way for the exhaust to flow out of. The exhaust would have to travel way over to the left muffler from the split in order to work, and that is way out of the way for the exhaust to flow. But let me know if it works for you and how it goes, and good luck.

itll probably help a little over stock, but it will probably hurt power compared to a normal aftermarket exhaust. but, with FI, it could make a difference.

well at one point in the middle of the car the pipe does run center under the car. I dont see why it would have to go out of its way... but this idea is mainly for looks, it is now depending on if I can find a stock like bumper that will take to tail pipes.
