Default DX Magnaflow Complete exhaust

So just last week I bought a Magnaflow Direct Fit Cat/Manifold for my 97 Dx. Because it was throwing a code but I installed it and then disliked the new sound of the exhaust... so I purchased a Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust for the Dx. I received it yesterday via ups and went to put it on and discovered that "Cat Back" doesn't mean Cat Back it comes within about 16 inches or so and uses a piece of stock piping. For me the point to a performance exhaust is to have more flow and not restrictive like the factory piping... so does anybody have a pic of what they made to replace it or is there a replacement online with piping of about an 2.25 inch diameter any suggestions would be great. thank you

It'll be fine.

If it really bothers you that much, get a custom bent downpipe made at an exhaust shop.

umm lets see i just bought everything for the dx so why would i spend another $1000 just so that I don't have to run down to the local exhaust shop and have them make me a 16" pipe
