^^^wrong

any CAI will do the trick. the only difference is fitment. an ebay cai will work just as well as an AEM cai (afterall..all it is is a pipe sucking cold air into the engine). it will just be harder to install because hteyre not nessecarily made for your certain car but for maybe 5th and 6th generations, all trims.

i didnt say anything about gains at all. i guess i should have clarified by saying fitment and quality. im just a person that will do it right the first time and wont cheap out, so i guess that doesnt make me "wrong".

oh. i see what you're saying now

but if you plan on turboing in the future a fully priced CAI will prolly be worthless and youd want a cheap one off ebay.

Filter is the only difference. Get the BOMZ and put a K&N on it... unless you like trash in your motor.

I have a BOMZ intake! It works fine and sounds great. You'll need to be creative when mounting it though... it doesn't come with any way to mount it. It came with some hardware that I can't make any sence of.
