Default ebay header/exhaust combo

Hi all,

I saw this combo on ebay and sure it's priced low but i have to ask. The link is here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-H...48813388QQrdZ1

I have purchased cheap parts from ebay before and have generally had good luck. can you guys tell me what you think of this? i have a 98 d16y8 and will use it as my dd. my regular car is a z06 so i have my speed thrill there.

so you have a Z06 and you are going supercheap on a header/muffler combo from ebay.. hmmm?

Anyways, a header and muffler when we are talking 100whp is all the same really. You will get a bit better flow which will get you a bit of power but a higher quality combo will of course net you a few more ponies. The combo wont be bad, you just might not get all the power you possibly could with a more quality setup... but were talking probably less than another 5 hp or so

and yup that is the reason I asked because i don't expect 20 hp from this mod whether i spend 1k or 150 on it.

Whoa take it easy. It does seem a little strange, but anyway...

I always tell people that they can skimp on anything but the header but that's a pretty smokin deal if you aren't looking to squeeze every little pony out of your Civic. If you do get it though, go right to the muffler shop and get some custom pipes to go wtih that muffler. No need for a big *** muffler and the stock pipes, unless you just want the noise, and believe me, with that header+"high flow" cat (test pipe) it is gonna be loud.

hehe...thanks for the advice guys. and i'm about to sell the m3 to hook up the vette. the vette is almost stock and the m3 has ss, full coilover setup, steering, oil cooler etc. the z06 still kicks it's *** on the track and the z06 gets 32/gallon on the highway at 75.

i think its a rip off. reason is. it never said it has any pipes with it. its most likely a header, cat, and muffler. for $70 im sure thats what it is.

but if i were you i would conferm it with the seller by e-mailing him first.
