the piping for my cat back right after the resonator is hitting the heat sheild and its rattling and really annoying. would it be bad if i took the heat shield off? would it melt anything under my car?

 

Nope, i took all mine off soon after i bought my car cause one was rattling like mad.. I've had them off all summer with no issues.

same thing happened to me w/ the vibratiing sound... i found out when i put my cat converter on that i had a pipe on upside down, so it made my pipe push up left, i rotated the pipe 180 degrees and it centered my exhaust out
