Yes Remy, there is a difference in power but my wife thinks there is a big difference in power, especially when I'm driving down the highway. That's because she's in the passenger holding on for dear life (just kidding). I'm just not satisfied yet, I want to be able to accelerate a little faster so I'm leaning towards the header and throttle body next. Any advice?

Afterwards, I want to work on handling. Any thoughts?

As for clips maddawg, the site should have three different clips 1) revving 2) revving while inside and 3) while driving by. Check it out.

If you want a lil more get-up-and-go on every shift, an intake should be your next purchase.

Well, I have the Short Ram Intake from Injen. Is that what you're talking about?

What about a little FI ? A super charger is fairly dependable.

Well, it won't be for a while but I'm comparing a turbo with a supercharger and see what is best for what I want. Thanks.

I hear with a turbo, there's more maintenance but with a supercharger, there's no or minimal maintenance. Which one is more expensive, a turbo or supercharger?

turbo requires more maintenance. supercharger is more expensive. but a turbo has more power potential because it just feeds off of wasted power.

i think someone crunched some numbers in a book i own, found that on a GSR (b18c1 for you who are care-to-engine illiterate...haha jk :P) and figured that, running at 20 PSI of boost, a turbo would give you 440 something, centrifigul (sp?) supercharger would give you 415ish and a roots would give you 390ish. might be wrong on those numbers...but the turbo has the most potential power

But then again, my understanding of it is that the Turbo is less reliable and will likely give you more trouble in the long run. So if you are looking for a way to give your daily driver some serious umph, but keep its Honda-esc reliability... then SC might be the way to go.

I am by no means an expert, but this is what I have taken away from reading on the subject, and the primary reason I plan to go SC one day.

I guess I have a decision to make. A turbo is less money, more power but more maintenance. A supercharger is more money, less power and with no or minimal maintenance.

And not so much more or less, but different. Super is more on the low side, and Turbo on the high end. So if you are looking to toast a guys when the light goes green, SC is the way to go. If you are going to the strip, turbo will do more for you once you get those RPMs up.

This is quite the simplification, but something else to think about.
