ok i have a question and in my 97 honda civic hx there is the exhaust manifold which has the convertor in it is not actually under the car bolted on or welled but my question is that it is cracked and in order to get headers what would i have to do about the convertor i know welled it on the bottom right but they say for the hx series that i have that it would be illegl to get headers which i think that is bs. but if somebody could give me suggestions that would be nice...

 

get ex headers. they will fit. then weld a cat after that. then your good to go!
