I'm a newbie in upgrades... I have a 98 Civic coupe w/ manual transmission. My exhaust manifold has a crack in it. Can I exchange my exhaust manifold with an aftermarket (something cheaper than stock). If so, is is as simple as unscrewing a few bolts...or do I have to cut and weld. Also, it has to be California emission legal. I just want the cheapest fix...(Honda dealer is charging $600+ for the part alone). Thanks in advance for any help.

 

its all bolting. but if your looking at putting an EX manifold on a DX you will run into cat and exhaust problems because cat placement is different on the two.
