Default exhaust question

does anybody make exhaust thats bolts right onto my stock cat or to the pipe that comes down from it. because my exhaust is rusted and dont wanna spend money on a stock one so might as well buy a aftermarket. Well i tried on my cousin's exhaust but it wont bolt up to the pipe from the cat. anyways i need to get some help before i buy an exhaust. Well thanks.

Most cat-backs are made to attach directly to your stock catalytic converter.

Just search for 96-00 hatchback applicable cat-backs, and you should be all set

take a dremel to the bolts or just keep tryin to break them off...if u cant get em off u'll have to run catless or have to buy a new cat. normally the new cat-back exhausts come with new bolts to hook the mid-pipe to the cat.

I bought mine through e-bay. Just make sure to avoid anything with the world "STyle" in it. Like "N1 Style" or "Greddy Style" they're knock offs...

About your other question. I used an angle grinder to pop mine out. You can makeshift a grinder with a drill if you need to.
