Default Exhaust Sound

I recently bought a N1 style muffler off of ebay...it has a 2.5" inlet a 4" outlet with a silencer .....i also bought a high flow cat with a 2.5" inlet and a 2.5" outlet ....how is this gona sound with 2.5" pipe?

Also, the guy that is gonna do my exhaust said he thinks my car will sound good if he cuts the resonator off, and i just looked at a post that said if you remove the resonator then it will sound like a pissed off bee....that is exactly what i DONT want....so would it sound better with the resonator or without the resonator?

I drive a 2000 EX Civic with a SRI

Like a pissed off lawnmower. With the resonator on it will sound fine. Go to the stickies in this section and check out exhaust sound clips.

Yoooo Just go back from getting my exhaust put on...the guys there told me no resonator would sou nd fine to me too....I have the same muffler you got of ebay i got mine there to EXACT same one but i have stock cat with 2.25 pipe going back to the muffler... NO resonator and it sound GOOD no rasp in it at all really it is very deep sounding... kinda loud but not that bad i tHink it sound really good... You should be fine...I heard 2.5 barely fits on civics and they dont prefer it if ur not going turbo but i dunno try it out...im happy with mine =) PEACE
