Default exhausts?

Hey,
I've finally got my hands on a stunning 99 civic hatch. I'm looking to get a new exhaust for it, but every single modded civic I see sounds like ****. I don't want a huge diameter one that can wake the dead, just something that will give off a decent bark on full throttle, but will be docile and quite enough for me not to look like a **** going down the shops! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
cheers

Hey what's up? I have a 00 civic EX and am looking for the same thing. No loud coffee can exhaust, but rather something that emits a pleasant sound and doesn't wake everyone up. It's gotta look pretty

The problem is most people dont get 'exhausts' they get tips which are loud and sound like ****. Get a full cat-back exhaust such as greddy evo 2.

Ha, you need to Spoon it. A friend of mine has just a back box on his CTR and it sounds great. Quiet at idle but a nice throaty tone when it get going.

+1 on the evo2. thats prolly what you want. its almost dead quiet until 3000k, at which its a low rumble. and its not too loud either.

I have the Evo2 and I love it! I would either do the Evo2 or the Greddy SP2. Both are great exhausts!
