So I got done installing my catback system with the Random tech cat tonight. Took it for a run and when I got back and got out of the out of the car I a burning smell was coming from my exhust. Is it always like this, or is there something wrong?

Awsome with that clear up, something else popped[:'(] figures eh, lol well after driving for a bit the Check Engine light came on. You thinks its the O2 sensor that is on the cat?

And people keep asking me if I used a torque wrench to torque the bolts and says that you need to torque them down.

Pull the code.......if u dont wanna get involved in the simplicty of doing it......go to AUTOZONE.....theyll tell you the code, and we can translate it for you. Yea its prob an o2 sensor related code.......well walk you thru it.....just tell us the code.

We gotcha back. Oh I almost forgot. Before you even drive to autozone. Take the negitive terminal off of your battery and let your car sit for 15 mins. Then put it back on. This will REset the ECU.........and the CEL (check engine light) might just stop showing up.

Okay so my uncle got home a bit ago, he has a OBD2 scanner(whice never told me) So we checked it out and P0420 anhd P0430 came up. He said that its just the downstream o2 sensor poping up because I removed the cat converter and it was altered JUST a bit, so the CEL will always pop till I get a new sensor.

He also said that I can just get a MIL simulator whice will trick the ECU to believing that the downstream o2 is perfect and and the cat the OEM original one.

I might jsut try, since my uncle was a toyota mechanic for 12 years...
