Default Glass Pack + Cat Back

Well i was looking around over Vamps Domain and noticed that he said he had a Cherry Bomb glasspack installed in his cat back piping. He's got a link to a video of his exhaust with sound, and it sounds AMAZING. Has anyone had any experience with glass packs and after market exhausts?

idk i cant stand that sound of exhaust. i love my ws2. has a deep tone to it. not so loud! i hate that high pitch weed eater sound. i couldnt drive around with that on my car. it would get on my last nerve.

sounds like a go-kart. get a weed-wacker if you want that sound. it's a little cheaper.

Ya, doesn't sound very good. I wouldn't use a glasspack if I were you. I don't know if you mean using it as your primary muffler or as a resonator, but either way...its worth it to spend more money on quality stuff. I was using a glasspack as a resonator in my cat-back exhaust before I replaced it with a real resonator and it worked well and all, but they just dont last long. Using it as a resonator is a good temporary solution to quieting exhaust noise, while using it as your primary muffler is not so good.

I could see slapping in a glasspack as a SECONDARY muffler, but not as a primary.... and it would have to be a long one... 32"?

But dude, that thing sounds like ***.
