Default Good Exhaust system for automatic?????

What's up eveyone. I have a 98 LX 4 door sedan. I want to get an exhaust for my car, but its an automatic. I don't want it to be really loud. I have heard a couple of automatics and they sound like crap. Does anyone know what are some good systems??

Greddy evo 2, Skunk 2, Apexi N1, Magnaflow, Megan Racing, it all depends on how much you want to spend. The Evo 2 is one of the most popular choises. Also i dont think too many systems are transmission sensitvie. check out these sites, they have some good stuff

Yeh, it doesn't matter if it's an auto or a manual. Same exhaust.

Thanks for the response. Another question. What's the deal with the cat on an LX? Can I still put headers on an LX?

Yes. Right now, most people just put an EX exhaust on their LX with a minor modification to the header, then the rest fits.

Or you could wait until the manufacturers actually made an exhaust for the LX.

as i said before, the only difference is cat placement. you'd need an EX exhaust manifold (prolly an aftermarket header, theyre cheaper than factory exhaust manifolds believe it or not) and thats it. you may have to drill new holes in teh bottom of ur car too.
