Default got my intake

pics of my new tenzo R intake installed. Its not the best intake out there so they say but i felt a HUGE increase, but that was with headers and a catback already on her, so shes getting more air and letting more exhaust out. Cleaned up the engine bay nicely, easy easy install, great price, 110 shipped. I'd definatly reccomend.

Oh and did i forget the sick induction sound? lol, especially when vtec kicks in.

Eric.

looks nice, man... but clean that engine bay... the poor thing's filthy lol

and no offense, but I'm going to say the "increase in power" you felt was a placebo. Intakes gain 5 horses if you're lucky. That's not really enough to feel.

but what im saying is that i had full aftermarket exhaust, DC headers apexi world performer cat back, being aspired by the stock intake, now im getting that much more air and getting that much more exhaust out. Maybe im still wrong but im pretty sure that it would be more of a difference putting and intake on a car that already has full exhaust than a car without. I dont know maybe im way off lol.

Thanks guys, and yeah it needs a cleaning :|

okay i give, but it sounds nice lol. And yeah since its gonna be out of commision for awhile having the broken valve cover bolt im probably gonna simple green the entire engine bay and scrub the battery residue off the firewall.

I understand what you're saying about the i/h/e vs. intake power gains, but in all reality, i/h/e on a d-series amounts to maybe 15 horses if you're lucky.

And you can probably drive around with the valve cover bolt broken. Just drive for a little bit and then look under the hood... if you see little or no oil around the bolt, you're probably fine to drive around, just remember to get the thing fixed eventually.
