Its probably louder thyan the full cat-back because you're not using the proper resonator which is built into the cat-back setup

and yes my05civic I only have the muffler. I like to test out the muffler first then go cat back. but I was afraid to on my honda cause I'm a bitch when it come to high pitched sounds. plus. admin. will ban me. lol

no no no, dont remove the resonator. Get a high flow cat, a NAME BRAND resonator, and you've already got yourself a name brand Muffler so you should be all set. (< all that is if you want to go custom catback, which is what you should do since you already have the muffler)

Just dont remove the res, get a high quality cat and res, and run 2.25" or 2.5" piping back
