I own a Apexi N1 catback for my 97 civic ex and ill tell you what its LOUD. Its still got a deep sound to it but watch out for cops if you get the N1 ive already been pulled over once this year. Cool thing about the N1 you can buy silencers for it that is if you dont want it to be loud.

Apex-i WS2 is a very quiet exhaust. If quiet performance is what you are looking for, the WS2 is a great exhaust.

I'd recommend anything made by Apex'i. My N1 was really loud even under boost, but I enjoyed it. The Apex'i WS2 would probably be your best bet. I was able to find it for $407, which is a good price for a cat-back. This is a good site, I've bought quite a few things here and I've been very happy with them.
