Default GReddy SP2 catback. any good?

so what do you guys think about the GReddy sp2 catback exhaust system for my 96 ex coupe?

i want something that sounds real good, performance isnt that important to me. i mainly want something that looks good and sounds good.

my experience with GReddy so far is that they've been pretty expensive. but StreetStyler has the sp2 for $495.

is this a good deal?

im also lookin at the megan catback exhaust along with the megan high flow cat and racing headers.

my one concern about this whole system is that the megan catback exhaust is 2.5" and i was told that on a stock civic that any tubing over 2" would make me really feel a drop in low end torque. what should i do? what should i do?

well you can also get the Apexi WS2 for $416 from Procivic.com.
here

But from what i hear they SP2 is a good exhaust, so i would go for that if it what you have your mind set on.

just get a muffler (brand name of course) welded on your stock piping. cheap and it'll sound good.

i already have a muffler. magnaflow. the problem of sound is not in my muffler. there's holes rusted thru the stock exhaust piping. so im replacing everything.

the holes that are in there now make it sound like a go kart. its ugly

I have 2" custom piping, and love it. Just have an exhaust shop do a custom exhaust for you. Some new piping and a resonator and you should be good to go.

thats why i decided to get my catback too i say go custom, but if you are feeling lazy, get a GReddy Evo 2or Sp2 (like you said), or the Apexi WS2. I've heard nothin but good things about all those. Also, Megan and Magnaflow are cheap and good, and RSR is expensive and amazing.

the greddy SP2 and apexi WS2 are almost identical in design and low sound output.

buy which ever you can find of the two cheaper.

if you want something deeper and throatier then get the Greddy EVO2.
