i had my MR exhaust for over a year now and i never got a ticket.

 

Check with your local laws on decibels. That is what it about. If you violate your county's decibel code, then you would get a ticket.

in my area, it needs to be under 95 decibels

I have an apexi n1 catback which is pretty loud and i have never gotten pulled over and I live in CA. But, then again when i see a cop near by, i just cruise in neutral until he's gone[8D]

 

yea i do that to, but when u cruise and then a red light hits and the cop is next to u wating for it to turn green, lol thats a problem

 

you can still control it a little, just you have to shift to a higher gear and stay in the low rpm so it won't sound as loud as normal

 

I just moved from Alaska to North Carolina and I have been pulled over twice, both exhaust (Megan headers, test pipe, and cat back) They couldnt give me a ticket because i have AK plates and its legal there but it isloud and the cops do notice it.
