Does anyone know what kind of header i should get for a 96 HOnda civic HX....4into1...3 into 1.....4-2-1-2 piece or racing??....does it matter????

 

never heard of 3-1... 3 cyclinder civic? haha. you probably want the DC Sport 4-2-1. Street version, not racing.

 

oh thank you...ummm...can you tell me a little about why I would want a 4-2-1 ? hehe...

 

4-1 headers are designed for racing applications where the vehicle is being driven at or near redline. The 4-1 design maximizes top end power, whereas the 4-2-1 evenly distributes it throughout the power band. There are cases where a 4-1 header works better than a 4-2-1 and creates more power in the mid or higher RPM ranges, but a 4-2-1 header will undoubtedly boost the horsepower of your car. I would go with the 4-2-1 header. Also are you going to get a 1 piece or a 2 piece header ?

get a 2 piece. much easier to install

yeah a 2 piece is alot easier to install then a 1 piece. so go with a 2 piece. alot less headaches =)
