Default Header Help!

I replaced the O2 sensor on my car this weekend (D16Y7) and this is what I saw...

It does not sound like its leaking through the crack, but I am a lil concerned about it. Its one of those ugly cat converter/manifold deals, and I'm thinkin get a header and bolt that into the stock exhaust till I can scrape up enough for the rest of the exhaust...I guess another option would be go to a wreaker and see if I can snag a used one.

If I go to eBay, what brands should I look into or stay away from? I know OBX is hit-and-miss on quality. I can't afford big-brand $400 headers, but I can't afford to repace a cheapie$75 POS every year either! Any info/advice would be great! Thanks in advance

Dont go cheap on a header... that is your engine you're talking about... if anything, place a want ad on the forum for another stock header because there are plenty of people that change them out... just be careful about ebay... alot of poor quality

Try Megan racing...it should be under $200. (Stay away from Ebay unless you want another cracked one)

Megan = around $160 or so http://www.meganracing.com/

Hedmen (Chikara) = around $160 <--I've had a Chikara header for about a year with no problems whatsover (with the exception of the blackpaint burning off ) http://www.summitracing.com/

DC Sports = $300+ for the same quality and performance as the other brands http://www.dcsports.com/

And if youre looking for brands to stay away from, ebay is #1 on your list. They have a horrible reputation, althoguh i've had one for about a year with absoltuely no problems, so maybe i just got lucky.DC is probably the most common brand, they're awesome but really expensive. Same goes forGReddy.But like eeryone else said, a cheap but still quality header would be Megan.

The megan racing header I bought was off of ebay. Just make sure if you buy a megan racing header off ebay the person you buy from has good feedback and policies like shipping insurance. Got mine for $162 with shipping and insurance.

I think I may go with a Megan, but on Monday I'll have my boss look at it. Maybe I can get some of that JB Weld putty stuff and do a patch for now, but like I said I don't hear a leak right now.
